Spiral galaxy located in the constellation of Hydra, and 20 million light years distance.

                                   

 

Equipment

Telescope:                 12.5" Ritchey Chretien by RC Optical Systems
Mount:                      Paramount ME by Software Bisque
Instrument:               STL11000M CCD Camera by SBIG

Exposure:                  LRGB (RGB 160 minutes each colour) with 8.5 hours of
                               unbinned Luminance and an additional 8.5 hours of 2x2
                               binned luminance (to capture the outer arms of this dim
                               galaxy) 
Capture Software:       CCDAutopilot V3, CCDSoft 
Processing:                Maxim DL, CCDStack, Photoshop CS2
